Plant Manager (1 Position)

Job Description :

Locations: Upcountry - five plants locate in Samutprakarn (Phrapadaeng), Suratthani, Rayong, Phitsanulok and Nakhon Ratchasima.

Job Description:
The Plant Manager position is responsible for managing operations in a manner that supports the strategic objectives according to company policy and working systems. This role directs managers and employees responsible for production and support staff within the plant. This position is responsible for coordinating product development, engineering, sales and marketing for product and to meet customer demand on existing products.

• Manage the production schedule for the plant, lead plant production meetings, coordinate daily production within the plant and with other departments and functions of the organization e.g. communicate regularly with personnel across the organization regarding plant operations, plan current and future projects and follow up on completed projects.
• Participate in and/ or lead various events including but not limited to: engineering, business segment, ISO quality, plant and regular quality and safety awareness audits.
• Manage assigned personnel in performance of their duties including, but not limited to, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluation, scheduling work activities, discipline and discharge. Establish and monitor individual and team goals which are aligned with the Organization’s business strategies and objectives.
• Prepare requests for maintenance, jigs, KPO, service, engineering, and human resources.
• Evaluate critical measures of the plant and make the necessary adjustments to reduce cost and increase production and quality.
• Responsible in networking with the local in order to make profit to the Company.
• Other responsibilities which are assigned by Operation Director.

Qualification :

• Thai nationality, aged not over 45 years old.
• Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering or other related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in Plant Management from manufacturing firm.
• Have experiences in operate production machines and power tools.
• Good managing skills for plant operations and attain performance goals.
• Experience in quality development tools and problem solving e.g., TQM, QCC, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, 6 Sigma, and Zero defect.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task to produce accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner.
• Good executions of manufacturing schedules and assure the application of all production, test, development, documentation and safety standards.
• Good interpersonal skill and coordinate with manufacturing with accounting, production control, engineering, maintenance and other departments in the accomplishment of production goals.
• Ability to coordinate long-range planning of employment, production facility, and plant equipment needs.
• Ability to ensure prompt and economical receipt of materials, supplies and parts. Ensure that Company policies and procedures are met.
• Fluent in English to communicate with foreign supervisors and employees (TOEIC score 800+).
• Able to be rotated and relocated between the Tipco Asphalt Groups’ plants in every 2-3 years terms (We have plants locates in Samutprakarn (Phrapadaeng), Suratthani, Rayong, Phitsanulok and Nakhon Ratchasima).
• Strong leadership skill, communication skill, and excellent ability to motivate others.
