Manager - Project Accounting (Construction) (1 Position)

Job Description :

Responsible for overall part of financial accounting for construction project including budget planning, cashflow forecast, costing, inventory management, internal control, and financial accounting report.
Ensures that all financial reporting meet deadlines and expected quality in complying with Tax regulations and International Financial Report Standard (IFRS).

• Complying of the key terms and conditions of the project contracts by having thorough understanding of the detail of each project contracts,
• Manage and highlight key areas of risk for project contracts and project insurance
• Managing all accounts reconciliation and resolving accounting discrepancies
• Ensure timely reporting, budgeting, financial statement and project forecasting
• Prepare and revise elaborate client invoices, support effective client relationship and submit project invoices
• Monitor and control accounting data recording into system and ensure the correct statements are posting under accounting & tax regulations on time as planned
• Performing the cash flow forecast, project costing, and inventory management
• Offer actual costs information, comparison of results against project budgets, revenue, and expenditure analysis
• Support analysis and report assigned projects for financial information
• Liaison and/or correspondence, coordinating with relevant parties such as internal & external auditor, Revenue Department officer
• Ensure up-to-date maintenance of client contracts that reflect project needs
• Involve in the development and implementation of costing and accounting systems to improve the project business
• Handling any ad-hoc tasks related to financial accounting and taxation matters
• Other tasks as assigned by Senior Manager

Qualification :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 6-9 years’ experience in related field such as finance, accounting, project costing, and taxation
• CPD holder is a must/CPA is a plus
• Good computer skills - MSWord/MS Excel/MS PowerPoint
• Able to handle large amount of transaction/month
• Strong supervisory and communication skill with construction team and support team
• Good business judgment, analytical and decision-making skill
• Able to develop strong working relationship with team
• Good communication skills both written/spoken in English
• Be able to work at Suvarnabhumi airport (Monday – Saturday)
